This new four-star hotel is on the front line of the beach, and has 272 rooms, a sports centre, Turkish baths and a convention room. With its opening, the Catalan chain increases its bed numbers to 2,100 in the area.

There are magnificent views of the beach at Torrevigía and the sea from all the rooms, and from the various meeting areas too. The Best Hotels group have been in the Benalmádena area for the past five years, and their presence is growing. Their hotels already there include the 378-room Tritón and the 400-room Siroco.

Work on the new hotel began a year ago, the building have formerly been acquired by the owners of the Hotel Alay, and its present design is modern and attractive.

Its twelve storeys, plus basement, have enormous windows looking out over the Mediterranean, and the facilities include a swimming pool, direct beach access, gymnasium, Turkish baths, sports centre, and massage and Jacuzzi rooms.

There are also facilities for conventions. 'We have a large convention room that will hold up to 150 people, where other events can he held as well' says the manager of the new hotel.
